The IMPRES charger communicates with you through color lights on the charger and a light on your radio to indicate the status of the charging process. The flashing red light means that the IMPRES charger is trying to condition or initialize a new battery. If the charger is still flashing after 14 to 16 hours, check the connection between the battery and the IMPRES charger or try recharging it in Rapid Charge Mode (bypasses the conditioning).
