The Motorola DP4400E is an ETSI DMR Standards compliant radio designed to deliver operation-critical voice and data communications. It can support a range of features including Bluetooth audio, integrated Wi-Fi for remote software updates and indoor/outdoor location tracking capabilities. Enhanced audio performance from IMPRES technology enables superior noise suppression and intelligent volume control. The DP4400E series is designed to be durable, with a rugged IP68 rating and is tested to military-grade specifications. The radio can also be fitted with GPS tracking (model dependant) to grant site managers the ability to track workers on site.

Programming
The DP4400e is a digital radio that supports Connect Plus and standard analog systems. It features up to 32 channels, five programmable buttons, an emergency button, and IP57 specifications for submersibility. It also comes with a customizable voice announcement feature and Bluetooth audio and data.
Depending on the system, your radio can send preprogrammed status updates from the Status List to indicate your current activity to other radios or dispatchers (for 5-Tone systems) and to your Dispatch Center (for Motorola Data Communication systems). The DP4400e also offers a customizable Mute Mode Timer which is useful for situations where you need to stay silent for a short period of time.
